Go to Events > Events Overview or the Events home page and create an event. Open it, then use Editing > Details for its name, dates, location, description, and other basics. If registration open/close fields are left blank when the event is created, registration opens when the event is published and closes at the event start time. Times use the institution's configured time zone.
Review Editing > Setup, ticketing, guest fields, emails, and the public preview before selecting Publish Event on the event overview. Publishing makes the event visible to the public.
Use Clone Event to reuse a prior structure, then review every date, ticket, activity, email, and public link in the copy. Use Unpublish Event only before anyone has registered; unpublishing returns the event to draft, hides its landing page, and changes scheduled event sequences to draft. After registrations exist, close registration or adjust the event instead of expecting unpublish to be available.
Archive Event hides both the landing and registration pages. Unarchiving does not make the event public; review and publish it deliberately.
