Configure Gift Officer school settings and user notifications

Authorized administrators open Gift Officer > School Settings. General Settings controls custom product labels, export hour, and—when enabled—up to two custom Home-page buttons with link text and a complete URL. Contact Methods, Contact Reports, Opportunities, Plans, Plan Templates, Tasks, Teams, and Shared Views control their corresponding school-wide definitions.

Use Notification Settings for institution defaults and Gift Officer > My Settings > Notifications for the user's own enabled notification types. My Settings > Permissions includes personal defaults such as automatically selecting “Create contact report for this email” or linking a cadence to a plan; it does not grant additional product permissions.

Use AI Profiles to configure supported contact-report AI profiles and test them before production use. Treat test output as a preview. Custom labels change what users see in navigation, so internal training should include both the default and institution-specific label.
