Create and manage fundraising opportunities

Go to Gift Officer > Opportunities for school-wide access or open the portfolio/constituent opportunity view. Create an opportunity with its constituent, responsible staff, type, status, likelihood, amount or amount type, expected date, and allocation details offered by the institution.

Open an opportunity to update its status and other current information. Use opportunity reporting and the activity overview for pipeline management; an opportunity amount is a forecast, not a received gift or pledge payment.

Administrators use Gift Officer > School Settings > Opportunities to configure opportunity types, statuses, likelihoods, amount types, and allocation behavior. Avoid repurposing a definition once active opportunities use it; add a new definition when the business meaning changes.
