Build cadences, cadence templates, and manage active instances

Go to Gift Officer > Cadences to create or open a sequence of outreach steps for selected constituents. Steps can represent calls, email, texts, postcards, social outreach, or other work, depending on enabled capabilities. Set timing and responsible users, review the generated tasks, and optionally link a cadence to a solicitation plan.

Use Gift Officer > School Settings > Cadence Templates to define reusable step structures. Creating a cadence from a template copies its current structure; edit the active cadence if that instance needs different timing or content. Use Cadence Management when permitted to review instances across users.

Pause a cadence when future steps should stop temporarily and complete/close it when the sequence is finished. Review pending tasks after pausing, reassigning, or changing stages; automated scheduling does not guarantee an email, text, or call was successfully completed.
