Use the Forgot password? link on the GiveCampus sign-in page when the password is unknown. Enter the email address used for the GiveCampus account, open the reset email, and select Reset Your Password. A password-reset link is valid for 48 hours. If multiple reset emails were requested, use the newest message.
When GiveCampus asks for a six-digit verification code, use the code emailed to the signed-in account or a current code from the user's authenticator app. Login verification codes expire after five minutes. On the verification page, select Click here to send a new code. Check spam or quarantine and confirm that the address shown on the page is the expected account before resending repeatedly.
To change a known password or configure two-factor authentication after signing in, open the user menu and select Edit Profile. In Account, use Change Password or Two-Factor Authentication. Enabling 2FA sends the first code by email; the user may also scan the displayed QR code with an authenticator app. Email remains an available verification method. Some users, including administrators permitted to modify bank accounts, cannot disable 2FA.
An account can be locked after too many unsuccessful sign-in attempts. Use the unlock instructions delivered by email rather than creating a second account.
