GiveCampus access is product- and role-specific. Adding someone as an administrator in one product does not automatically grant every other product or campaign permission.
For school-wide administrators, go to School Dashboard > Administrators. Select Add Administrator, enter the email address that the person uses for GiveCampus, and assign the appropriate access. Use School Dashboard > Administrators > Roles when role-based access is enabled. A pending administrator can be sent another invitation with Resend Invite. Existing administrators can be edited or removed from the administrator list; removing an administrator may require reassigning content they created.
For Events, open School Dashboard > Administrators > [administrator], assign an Events-capable role, and review Events Access. Choose All Events or grant the relevant individual events or event groups. A general school or Online Giving administrator can still have no Events access if either the role or event scope is missing.
Product-specific administrator pages are available at:
- Online Giving > Administrators
- Events > Administrators
- Outreach > Administrators > Roles
- Volunteer Management > Administrators
Campaign-level notification access is separate from administrator status. For a campaign, open Online Giving > Campaigns > [campaign] > Manage Donations > Admin Gift Notifications and select the campaign owner and administrators who should receive notifications.
If a menu, record, or action is missing, first confirm that the person is in the correct institution and product, then confirm their administrator entry and role. The interface hides controls when the institution does not subscribe to the product, a feature is disabled, or the role lacks permission.
