Go to School Dashboard > Integrations > SFTP. Select New Credential, choose username/password or public SSH key authentication, add a useful description, and optionally restrict it to a trusted network. GiveCampus displays the assigned username and connection details.

Store a generated password immediately in an approved secret manager. The password is not displayed again. To reset it, delete the credential and create a new one. Coordinate that rotation with every scheduled job using the old credential before deleting it.
Use binary-safe SFTP transfer, stable filenames agreed with the import/export process, and a temporary filename/atomic rename if the producing system supports it so GiveCampus does not pick up a partially written file. Do not email credentials or private keys.
