Go to Outreach > Conversations to review and continue one-to-one text conversations when the institution has texting. Use the text-outreach creation flow for a broadcast campaign and review its final included recipients before sending.
Text outreach can include one supported image attachment. Use a JPEG, GIF, or PNG; another format is rejected before sending. Send a test and review the image as well as the message body before using the final recipient list.
Configure school defaults at Outreach > Settings > Text Settings. The default opt-out language is automatically added when a user texts a recipient from a new phone number, and the page also controls the voice response played when someone calls an institution texting number.
That settings page shows the institution's current daily text limit, today's usage, and, when a texting subscription is present, the subscription-period send/receive allowance and usage before additional charges. The daily allowance resets at midnight Pacific Time. Limits are account-specific, so quote the values shown on the page rather than a universal number or price. A broadcast is blocked if its included-recipient count would exceed the remaining daily allowance.
Normalize phone numbers in the supported upload format and review invalid-number reporting. Do not assume that repeated numbers in a source spreadsheet equal repeated messages: source rows, constituent identities, final recipient construction, prior consent, and normalized endpoints can change the result. The final included-recipient list is authoritative for that draft.
Honor STOP and other carrier opt-out behavior. Do not send sensitive data by text.
