Accept in-person gifts and understand GC Connect form limits

In the GC Connect app, choose an active Campaign or Form, complete the streamlined donor form, and present the payment method by chip, contactless tap/mobile wallet, or magnetic stripe when the reader supports it. The app shows live campaigns and Giving Forms. Successful donors receive the campaign/form's ordinary confirmation email.

GC Connect collects the supported subset of fields: name, email, postal code, affiliation, designation/write-in designation when configured, and campaign anonymity. It does not collect custom fields, split gifts, deep designation nesting beyond the supported levels, or multiple class years for one affiliation. Use the gift Note for other pertinent information and ensure confirmation templates do not depend on fields GC Connect omits.

Recurring giving appears when enabled on the selected form. Do not use tap/mobile-wallet payment for a recurring plan: the first installment may succeed while future installments cannot be charged. Keep the phone/tablet at least six inches from the reader during contactless payment so its own mobile wallet is not detected.
