Overview
Adding an email alias in GC GO lets you send emails from additional addresses besides your primary authenticated email.Once you’ve authenticated your main email account, you can add alternate addresses you’re allowed to use (for example, firstname.lastname@school.edu and giving@school.edu) as aliases.
When sending an email from GC GO, you can then choose which alias to send from, making your outreach appear as coming from the appropriate departmental or personal email address.
Replies to emails sent from an alias will be tracked back in GC GO, so your communication history stays complete. This is especially useful for gift officers who manage communications across multiple campaigns, departments, or special initiatives, ensuring a professional appearance and streamlined workflow.
1. Navigate to User Settings
Go to the “Settings” page on the left-side navigation panel within GC GO
Then select “My Settings”
Click the “Add Email Alias” button
2. Add Email Alias
Enter your Email Alias in the text box
If you would like this email to be your default email in GC GO, click the checkbox next to “Make
this your default email alias”
Click the “Save Email Alias” button
Your email alias will now appear in the Email Aliases section
