Guest Affiliations in GC Events – Selecting Multiple Values

Parents and attendees can list multiple values within a single affiliation—for example, a parent can include several alumni class years under the “Parent of Alum” category. GC Events supports this capability.

1. Select the affiliation type (for example, Parent of Alum).

2. A multi-select dropdown displays the available values (such as a list of class years).

3. Choose all applicable options from the dropdown.

Example: A parent with three alumni children selects 1987, 1989, and 1992 from the dropdown under Parent of Alum.

• The multi-select option is controlled by your event's affiliation settings. If you see a single-value picker, update the event’s configuration to enable multiple selections.

• Multiple values submitted for the same affiliation remain grouped for each person and are displayed on printed or digital name tags (if enabled) as well as in event reports.
