Setting Minimum Donation Amounts

Set a floor for donations to guide donors and support your fundraising strategy. You can configure minimum donation amounts for individual campaigns and giving forms.

Campaign/form‑specific minimums

Use this option to require a minimum gift for a specific campaign or form.

How to set it

1. Open the campaign or giving form in the admin interface.

2. Go to the minimum donation amount section in the form configuration.

3. Locate the "Minimum Donation Amount" field. (On pledge forms, this field is labeled "Minimum Pledge Amount.")

4. Enter your desired minimum (at least $1.00). The field accepts decimal values with increments of $0.01 (for example, 5.50).

5. Save your changes.

What donors will see

• Donors cannot proceed if the donation amount is below the set minimum.

Can I use cents (like $5.50) for my minimum?

No. The minimum value must be a whole number.

What is the lowest minimum I can set?

The lowest allowed minimum is $1.00.
