Customizing Email Footer Address in GC Outreach
GC Outreach emails include a footer displaying your institution’s physical mailing address and an unsubscribe link. The footer is automatically generated from your school-level mailing address settings. This guide explains how the address is sourced, how to update it, and what can or cannot be customized.
where the footer address comes from
The footer address is pulled from your school-level mailing address settings.
It displays values from the Physical Mailing Address section: street address, city, state, zipcode, and country.
The footer cannot be customized on a per-email basis—it reflects your school-wide settings.
Unsubscribe links are automatically included and cannot be removed.
Four fields are required: Street Address, City, State/Province, and Zipcode/Postal Code. The Country field is optional—if left blank, the footer displays "US" by default.
Does GiveCampus support Canadian addresses?
Yes. When you select Canada, the State field becomes Province and accepts Canadian province codes, while the Zipcode field relabels to Postal Code and verifies Canadian postal code formats (e.g., A1A 1A1).
how to update the address in Outreach email footers
Navigate to Online Giving > School-Level Settings > Other.
Locate the Physical Mailing Address section.
-
Update all required fields:
Street Address
City
State/Province
Zipcode/Postal Code
Country
Save your changes.
New GC Outreach emails will display the updated address in the footer.
what you can and can't customize
Per-email changes are not supported; the footer address uses your school-wide settings.
The unsubscribe text is always included and cannot be removed.
-
To add details like a mail code or department information (e.g., "Donor Relations"), include this information in the Street Address field or within your email content above the footer.
