Using Anchor Links in Campaign Content
Creating Links to Specific Campaign Sections
You can create links that jump directly to specific sections of your campaign page using anchor tags:
Available Campaign Section Anchors:
-
#matchallenges- Links to the Matches & Challenges section -
#donors- Links to the donor recognition section -
#about- Links to the campaign description -
#updates- Links to campaign updates -
#advocates- Links to the advocates section -
#faq- Links to the FAQ section -
#social- Links to the social sharing section -
#projects- Links to the tiered campaign projects section
-
#leaderboard— Links to the donor recognition/leaderboard section -
#leaderboards— Links to the donor recognition/leaderboard section
To use these anchors, append #leaderboard or #leaderboards to the end of your campaign URL (for example: https://www.givecampus.com/schools/YourSchool/your-campaign#leaderboard). Both aliases scroll visitors to the same section as the #donors anchor.
These aliases work across all campaign page layouts. If a campaign contains a custom content section with the exact header "Leaderboard," that section will retain its own anchor. In that instance, the aliases will target the custom section.
How to Create Anchor Links:
1. Add the anchor tag to the end of your campaign URL
2. Format: https://www.givecampus.com/schools/YourSchool/your-campaign#matchallenges
3. Test the link to ensure it directs to the correct section
