Find the right data fields for your VM import files
The Data Selector is a convenient tool that helps partners quickly determine which data fields are needed to power specific GiveCampus products and features.

What you can do with the Data Selector
Using the Data Selector, you can:
- Select products and features to see the data fields they require
- Select by plan or edition to view field requirements at that level
- Export the results to a CSV for easy sharing and implementation
How it works

Choose what you’re implementing
- Select the products and features you plan to use, or
- Select your plan/edition (or both)

Review field requirements
You’ll see fields categorized as:
- Required (needed for the feature to function)
- Recommended (strongly suggested for best results)
- Optional (not required, but may enhance functionality)

Download your field list
Click Download to CSV to export the full list of required, recommended, and optional fields based on your selections.
Note: Volunteer Management is listed in a separate tab because it currently requires a separate data upload.
- Downloading from the Volunteer Management tab exports Volunteer Management fields only.
- Downloading from other tabs exports the fields needed for everything outside Volunteer Management.
