Raiser's Edge NXT Integration - Create a New Constituent

Reviewing gifts that are missing a Constituent ID and need to create a new constituent?

Before getting started, head to the School Dashboard > Integrations > Blackbaud RE NXT to be sure you have default phone, email, and address types set up. 

Head to Manage Gifts > Gifts to Review and click the Review button next to a gift.

You can edit constituent fields—such as name, email, phone number, and address—before sending the record to RE NXT. Note that Phone Type, Email Type, and Address Type are read-only, as they come directly from your Blackbaud integration settings. To update these values, visit School Dashboard > Integrations > Blackbaud RE NXT and adjust your default settings.

From there, you'll be able to Create a new constituent in Raiser's Edge NXT, or enter a known Constituent ID.

You'll be able to create a record by automatically assigning a lookup ID in NXT, or manually assigning one.  

Once you're done, click 'Push to NXT'! The constituent will be created and the gift will be linked to the person and sent to RE NXT in the next sync.
