Additional Notes
- The daily texting limit is a capacity cap, not an extra quota. For example, if your yearly allowance is 10k texts, you won’t be able to exceed that if the daily cap is higher.
- You can pre-purchase or be invoiced for any overage of your yearly limit at a rate of $0.05 per message.

GiveCampus tracks your text messaging usage so you can monitor your activity. Your subscription includes specific text messaging allowances that are measured daily and over your billing cycle.

Daily texting limits: what happens at the cap
- Daily texting limits operate independently of your monthly or annual allowances. Even if you have overall capacity remaining, sends that exceed today's cap will be blocked with an error message.
- Enterprise plans are capped at 100,000 texts per day.
- The daily limit cannot be overridden—even if you're willing to pay for overages. Overage purchases increase your overall allowance but do not affect the daily cap.
- Limits reset at midnight Pacific Time.

If you hit the daily cap
- Schedule the outreach for the next day after the reset, or
- Reduce your recipient count so the send fits within your remaining daily capacity, then schedule additional batches for subsequent days.
Why are sends blocked even if I haven’t reached my overall allowance?
The daily cap is a separate safeguard. Even with remaining monthly or annual allowance, texts cannot be sent once the daily limit is reached.

- Break large audiences into daily batches that fit within your plan’s daily cap.
- Stagger sends over multiple days to maintain momentum while staying within limits.
- Monitor the usage dashboard throughout the day to avoid triggering the daily cap unexpectedly.
