What does a partner need to share with their IT team to whitelist GiveCampus emails?

If a partner is not receiving emails that are being sent out from GiveCampus they may need to contact their IT team to whitelist us. They will need to approve our IP addresses (167.89.40.164, 167.89.71.233, 168.245.105.222, 168.245.114.24, 167.89.84.144). Most automated emails are sent from info@givecampus.com, but some are sent from campaigns@givecampus.com, vms@givecampus.com, and outreach@givecampus.com, so if they need specific email addresses they will want to include those as well.

Click‑tracking redirect domain to allowlist

When recipients click on tracked links in GiveCampus Outreach emails, the click is routed through our click‑tracking domain, link.em.givecampus.com, before reaching the final destination. Some email security scanners flag these redirecting domains as suspicious, which can result in browser warnings or blocked links even though the destination is safe.

If recipients see a warning after clicking an Outreach link, ask your IT or security team to allowlist link.em.givecampus.com in your email and web‑filtering tools. Note that this domain is separate from the sender IP addresses and email addresses mentioned above and is used solely for tracking engagement while preserving link analytics.

When working with your IT/security team, inform them of the following:

• Domain to allowlist: link.em.givecampus.com
• Purpose: Used for email click‑tracking by GiveCampus Outreach. The redirect allows us to record engagement before forwarding to the final URL.
• Scope: Configure your email-link inspection or web‑filter redirect‑scan rules to treat redirects through this domain as safe.

Additional tips:

• A security warning indicates that the tool does not recognize the redirect domain—it does not mean the link is malicious. Allowlisting the domain should remove the warning.
• The allowlisting change must be made within your institution’s security tools (such as your email gateway, secure web gateway, or URL‑inspection proxy).
• If IT still notices blocked traffic after allowlisting, provide them with a sample click flow to trace and verify that the tracked link redirects through link.em.givecampus.com before reaching the final page.
