Creating a new Video Landing Page
Creating a video landing page in GC Video is simple and easy!
Watch a 10 minute walk through (hosted on GC Video, of course) or read through the instructions below!

First navigate to the "Landing Pages" tab of your GC Video dashboard and click "Create a new Video Page".

Upon clicking this button, you will be prompted to provide a name and description for your video landing page.
Note: The name that you use for your video landing page will become the URL for your landing page.

Selecting your video content
Within GC Video, you have three different options for providing video content: upload, embed a standard video, and embed a livestream video.
If using the upload option, the file must be a standard video format such as .mp4, .mov, .avi, .mpeg, or .mpg.
If using the embed option (standard video or livestream), the video source where the video is hosted should provide an embed code. This code can be pasted into the "Video embed" text box.
Upon uploading your video or providing the embed code, click "Save Changes" at the bottom of the section. It may take a minute or two for the changes to save as the actual video is uploading and processing. When the upload is complete, the page will refresh and a preview will display in the Video section.
Adding Branding
Every GC Video video page can have unique branding. Using the prompts in the Branding section, provide the following content:
- Video Name: The name should populate based on information provided when creating the video page.
- Description: An optional internal description to understand the video page content.
- Logo: The logo will appear in the top left corner of your video page, where your school logo displays on all other GiveCampus pages.
- Background Image: An image that will appear behind the video and text content.
- Video Placeholder Image: An optional image that will overlay the video player until the video is played.
Choosing a Call to Action
Call to Action buttons allow you to drive your audience towards the destination of your choice. Call to Action buttons can route to any other GiveCampus product to which you subscribe including the Social Fundraising Platform, Giving Forms by GiveCampus, and the Volunteer Management System.
Call to Action buttons are not required, but are strongly recommended if your goal is to highlight a next action item for your audience or to share the results from a recent campaign.
Any video page can have up to three Call to Action buttons. Within any given video page, the same product, and if applicable, campaign or giving form, must be used as the destination. Call to Action buttons will populate below the video and above the text content as shown below.

Content
Within the Content section you can provide text to share information to your community or encourage next steps. We recommend keeping this section as concise as possible so as to allow your video to tell the story for you! Content in this section can be bolded, italicized, or underlined. Links can also be added.
Sharing
Encouraging your community to share out a GC Video page is a great way to generate organic reach. Within the Sharing options, you can choose which options you'd like to provide for easy sharing of the video page: Facebook, Twitter, or via copying a link.
Additionally, you can set the default text and image that will display when the page is shared.
Launching Your GC Video page
At any time you can preview how your finished GC Video page will appear. Before previewing we recommend clicking the "Save Changes" button to lock in all of your content and settings. Then click the "Preview" button to view the GC Video page.
When you're happy with your GC Video page, click the "Launch" button. Don't worry, you can continue to make changes while the page is live!
GC Video pages can be distributed to your select audience using the URL at the top of the video's settings page. Changing your video page name will change the URL associated with the campaign page. For this reason, we recommend finalizing the video page name prior to sharing out the URL.
