Donors with multiple affiliations

Many donors have multiple affiliations.  For example, you might have donors who are both parents and alumni... or donors who are parents, alumni, and employees.  GiveCampus has accounted for these scenarios by allowing donors to select multiple affiliations when making their gifts.  A donor can even select their class year as an alumnus/a and their child's class year if they are a parent.

All of this information is represented accordingly on the campaign page.  For example, if a donor identifies as both an alumnus/an and a parent, they will be counted as both in your Affiliation Breakdown.  If they select their graduating class year and their child's class year, they will also be counted for both classes on your Class Leaderboard (if you have it enabled and if you have opted to count parents). The full value of the gift will count towards all selected affiliations.
