A simple and secure payment option that is proven to reduce friction and increase conversion.

Partners leveraging GiveCampus’s integration with Stripe for payment processing are able to accept gifts via Google Pay (including Android Pay)--at no added cost, and with no technical development or set-up required.
What is Google Pay?
Google Pay is a "digital wallet" that allows people on Android devices to pay without taking out their credit or debit card, and without filling out a payment form. Instead, they can simply select any payment method (including PayPal) that is saved in their Google Account--including those saved to Google Play, YouTube, and Chrome. Like Apple Pay, WebPay, the "Bank Transfer" giving option, and "1-click giving" for donors who store payment information on their GiveCampus account, Google Pay dramatically reduces friction for donors--and meaningfully increases conversion for you.
(Note: Donors who are not using an Android device or who do not have Google Pay set up will not see the option to give with Google Pay. This video walks through the steps of linking a payment method to Google Pay.)
Will Google Pay impact payment processing or reporting?
Google Pay transactions are processed just like credit card transactions. The only difference is that these transactions will appear in your reporting with the cc_type field set to "Google Pay”. (For more details on reporting and Stripe payment states, see this GiveCampus University article.)
We don't use Stripe but would like to so that we can take advantage of Google Pay. What should we do?
Switching from your existing payment processor to our native integration with Stripe takes less than five minutes, costs $0, and provides you with benefits ranging from streamlined reporting to higher donor conversion and happier donors. If you'd like to learn more or are ready to make the switch, just send a quick note to support@givecampus.com.
