Note: The following information applies only to schools leveraging GiveCampus's strategic partnership with Stripe. If your institution does not use Stripe for payment processing, please contact your payment processor for details on when donations are transferred to your bank account.
How Deposit Timing Works
Donations are deposited into your bank account based on the cadence you selected during onboarding. You may choose daily, weekly, or monthly deposits, and you can update this selection at any time by navigating to the Banking and Deposits section within Online Giving.
If your institution selected daily deposits, your first transfer will occur approximately 7 days after the processing and settlement of your first donation. After that initial transfer, deposits follow a 2-day rolling schedule. For example, donations processed and settled on Monday will typically be deposited on Wednesday.
Most banks post incoming funds on the same day they are received. However, depending on your bank’s internal processing, it may take an additional 2 to 3 business days for funds to appear in your account. Transfers that fall on weekends or bank holidays will be posted on the next business day.
Timezone Display for Deposits and Donation Activity
All deposit dates and donation timestamps displayed in the GiveCampus platform reflect your institution’s local timezone. This ensures that reporting aligns with the dates as they occurred for your school.
The following CSV fields use local-time timestamps:

Viewing Your Deposit Reports
For complete visibility into when deposits were made and which donations are included in each transfer:
- Go to your Admin Dashboard.
- Navigate to Reporting > Deposits.
- View or download either
- the default deposit report,
- a custom report you have created, or
- a date-range deposit report covering multiple days of deposits.
These reports detail individual deposits, the donations included in each one, and all associated timestamps in your institution’s timezone.
