GiveCampus has integrations with MyEmma and Constant Contact to streamline donor communication. These integrations allow you to create, sync, and update donor lists within your email marketing tool directly from GiveCampus.

What it Does
GiveCampus has integrations with MyEmma and Constant Contact to streamline donor communication. These integrations allow you to create, sync, and update donor lists within your email marketing tool directly from GiveCampus.
Once connected to MyEmma or Constant Contact, each new Campaign and Giving Form will automatically generate "already-donor" lists in your email marketing tool. This list includes the email of every donor—both online and offline—automatically.
For pre-existing campaigns/forms, you can manually create these lists. New donors will be added automatically once the list is created. You also have the option to backfill lists with previous donors.
These lists of "already donors" could be used to:
- Send stewardship emails.
- Suppress ‘already donors’ from future email solicitations.
- Ask donors to become advocates.
- Ask last Giving Day donors to participate again in a special way.
- A billion other ideas you’ll dream up – we can’t wait to hear about them!
How to Enable
- In Online Giving, go to the Email Marketing page
- Select your email tool
- Enter your credentials
- MyEmma: Enter your Account ID, API Public Key, and Secret Key found under "Profile > API key in MyEmma.
- Constant Contact: Log in with your credentials and grant GiveCampus access.
- Start syncing
- New campaigns/forms will generate and sync a list automatically.
- To create a list for an existing campaign/form, select the project from the dropdown and click ‘Create list.’

Managing Lists
Once you have your marketing tool integrated, you will see a new Email Lists table. This will be blank to begin with, but all new campaigns and forms will automatically generate a new email list. A newly created list in GiveCampus will automatically generate and begin syncing to a list within your email tool.
To create an email list for a previously created campaign/form, select that project from the dropdown on the right hand side and click Create List.
Additional Tips & Tricks

Disabling and Scheduling Syncing:
- Adjust sync settings by clicking on the email list name in GiveCampus.
- Disable Sync: Stops adding new donors to the list.
- Schedule Sync: Choose future dates to sync donors during specific timeframes.

Backfilling Lists:
- Sync All Donors: Includes all past donors online and offline.
- Timeframe Backfill: Backfill gifts from a specific date range.

Constituent IDs & Multiple Email Addresses:
- Upload constituent IDs to ensure accuracy. This includes all known email addresses for each constituent.
Why might I want to disable syncing?
- Only include donors who gave after your pre-launch concludes
- Sync donors to a Giving Form that came in during a particular appeal time-frame (as opposed to all donors on the form)
Why might I want to backfill?
- Create a list for a campaign that is active and started recently, but before the sync!
- Create a list from last year’s giving day and ask them to be advocates for this year!
- Say thank you to donors to a specific scholarship giving form.
- Create a stewardship just for donor who give in a particular month.
