Campaign Name Change

⚠️ Caution: Changing the name of your campaign changes the URL for the campaign page. As such, any links you have previously generated and/or shared for your campaign will no longer work.

How to Change Your Campaign Name

You can change the name of your campaign from the:

Campaign > Campaign Setup > Basics

Find the Campaign Name field

Check the box: "I understand that changing the campaign name while the campaign is live will also change the URL and all previous URLs shared will no longer work."

Once you click the box next to that acknowledgement, you can change the name of your campaign

Make sure to scroll down to the bottom of the page and click "Update Campaign" to save your changes

How to Reopen a Closed Campaign

If you need to reopen a closed campaign:

Go to the 'Basics' tab in the campaign settings

Send the campaign back to draft

Once it's in draft, you can select an updated date by editing the 'End Date' field on the "Basics" tab

Important: Make sure you update the End Date field to a date in the future

Note: If the campaign immediately completes on relaunch, it's generally because the end date field wasn't correctly updated. Updating the 'soft launch', 'launch', or prelaunch page dates will not reopen the campaign!

Post-Campaign Options

When a campaign ends, a link automatically shows up on the campaign page to guide donors to the campaign backup form. This cannot be customized per-form or set to an external page.

Available Redirect Options

Default: The redirect goes to the campaign's backup form

Custom GiveCampus Form: You can set any GiveCampus giving form as your backup form instead
