Advocate Management Dashboard
The Advocate Management Dashboard enables you to identify, invite, manage, and evaluate your advocates within a single, visual dashboard.
Every GiveCampus campaign now offers a dashboard view that allows you to perform all your highest value advocate management work. The dashboard even includes advocates recommended by GiveCampus based on their previous activities. In addition to recommended advocates, you will be able to upload your own list of advocates. You will then be able to invite and track whether these advocates have opted in or taken action that qualifies them as an advocate.
Potential Advocates
The Potential Advocates section displays both recommended and uploaded advocates who you have not yet invited. Potential advocates recommended by GiveCampus based on previous activity have a star ⭐️ beside their image.

Upload Advocates
If you'd like to manage advocates within the dashboard beyond those recommended by GiveCampus, you can select the 'Upload Advocates' button to add your advocates constituent IDs, names, and emails.

Once you've uploaded your advocates via CSV file, you will be asked to review your data and ensure everything is accurate. Once approved, the file will take 15 - 30 minutes to process and appear in your 'Potential Advocates' section.

Invited Advocates and Email Templates
To invite your volunteers to GiveCampus, you'll first need to set up an email template in the 'Email Templates' tab within 'Advocacy.' You can use the corresponding merge tokens to construct your registered invite, registered nudge, non-registered invite, and non-registered nudge templates. We provide all both a "Registered" option as well as a "Non-Registered" option in case you want to craft a different message for your Advocates who already have an account (e.g. "Log in and get started!") vs. those who need to create an account (e.g. "Create your account to get started!").
Clicking 'Invite' in your Potential Advocates section will send your advocate the email template that you've created with their information populated in the merge token fields. Upon refreshing the page, these advocates will appear in the 'Invited Advocates' section, at which point you can also send them a "nudge" email.
A "Opt In" button will always appear within these templates. This button allows your constituents to "raise their hand" to serve as an advocate for the campaign.

Active Advocates
Your advocates will move into the "Active Advocates" section for one of two reasons - they have "opted in" via the button in your invite email or they have had advocacy engagement (generated clicks/gifts/dollars, setup a match/challenge, or created a personal video). Once your advocates have begun their advocacy outreach, you will see their names appear in the 'Active Advocates' tab. The clicks, donors, dollars, personal video, and match/challenge data will all be viewable. You'll also be able to see any donors who landed on the campaign via the advocates outreach.
Active Advocate Nudge Emails will only send to advocates who have generated at least 1 click to the campaign. If scheduling an automated advocate nudge, that email will send within a 10 minute timeframe of the specified time in your advocate dashboard settings.
