Using the Advocacy Dashboard

The Advocacy Dashboard is designed to equip your supporters with the tools and insight they need to generate even more impact on your campaign.  

What will Advocates see?

When a registered GiveCampus user is visiting the campaign page while logged into their GiveCampus user account, they'll see an 'Advocacy Dashboard' button on the campaign page 'Advocates' tab. 

Once viewing their Advocacy Dashboard, they'll have access to the following features:

• Match & Challenge prompts & progress tracking
• Personal Video upload settings & approval status
• Tools for sharing the campaign link with images, Personal Video still frames, and Donor maps
• How-to instructions for using the Advocate tools

Note: When a guest user is visiting the campaign page and not logged into a GiveCampus user account, they'll see a prompt to create an account and/or login to fully leverage the Advocate features. Community supporters can still use the Advocate features while not logged into a user account, but they won't be able to access the Advocacy Dashboard. 

Ready to set up your campaign's Advocacy Dashboard?

Step One: Enable the Dashboard

Head to Online Giving > Campaign Advocacy and open the Settings page. Toggle the Enable Advocacy Dashboard setting ON (green).

Additional Sharing Images: Choose the extra images that Advocates can share on social media. Options include Donor Maps and, if applicable, Leaderboards. By default, Advocates can share the campaign share image and their approved Personal Video.

Enable Soft-Launch Sharing: If your campaign is in a soft launch phase, enable this setting to allow Advocates to share the campaign before it goes public. Otherwise, leave it off until the campaign is live.

Head to the Campaign Settings > Advocacy and toggle the ‘Enable Advocacy Dashboard’ setting ON (green). 

Step Two: Configure the Dashboard Settings

Campaign administrators can configure what tools will be available to Advocates on the Dashboard.

Dashboard Setup: 

• How-To Section: Enable this setting to provide easy-to-follow steps for using the Advocate features, right on the Dashboard. 
• Dashboard section ordering: Drag-and-drop each section of the Dashboard into the order in which you'd like them to appear.
