The Advocacy Dashboard is designed to equip your supporters with the tools and insight they need to generate even more impact on your campaign. Take advantage of this game-changing feature and allow your Advocates to share authentic campaign content with their friends and followers, keep tabs on their Match and Challenge gifts, and track how their volunteering activities are influencing the campaign.
What will Advocates see?
When a registered GiveCampus user is visiting the campaign page while logged into their GiveCampus user account, they'll see an 'Advocacy Dashboard' button on the campaign page 'Advocates' tab.
Once viewing their Advocacy Dashboard, they'll have access to the following features:
- Match & Challenge prompts & progress tracking
- Personal Video upload settings & approval status
- Tools for sharing the campaign link with images, Personal Video still frames, and Donor maps
- How-to instructions for using the Advocate tools
Note: When a guest user is visiting the campaign page and not logged into a GiveCampus user account, they'll see a prompt to create an account and/or login to fully leverage the Advocate features. Community supporters can still use the Advocate features while not logged into a user account, but they won't be able to access the Advocacy Dashboard.
Ready to set up your campaign's Advocacy Dashboard?
Step One: Enable the Dashboard
Head to the Campaign Settings > Advocacy and toggle the ‘Enable Advocacy Dashboard’ setting ON (green).
Step Two: Configure the Dashboard Settings
Campaign administrators can configure what tools will be available to Advocates on the Dashboard.
Dashboard Setup:
- How-To Section: Enable this setting to provide easy-to-follow steps for using the Advocate features, right on the Dashboard.
- Dashboard section ordering: Drag-and-drop each section of the Dashboard into the order in which you'd like them to appear.
- Additional Sharing Images: Enable this setting to allow Advocates to share campaign Donor maps.
Soft Launch Sharing Tools
- Enable Soft Launch Sharing: Enable this setting to allow Advocates to see the sharing features. If you're in a soft launch phase and don't want Advocates to be able to use the sharing features, this setting can be disabled (just be sure to enable it once you're in the public phase of your campaign!).
Peer-to-Peer Advocate Recruitment Tools
- Enable Sharing of the Advocacy Dashboard: Enable this setting to allow Advocates to share a link to the Advocacy Dashboard. This feature is designed to help facilitate peer-to-peer Advocate recruitment.
- Advocacy Dashboard Sharing Image: Choose an image to be shared when an Advocate shares the Advocacy Dashboard.
- Advocacy Dashboard Sharing Text: Customize the default language that appears when an Advocate shares the Advocacy Dashboard.
