Terms of Service Checkbox

Terms of Service are implied in all states except California and in the EU.

In California and in countries covered by GDPR (including EU member states, the United Kingdom, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway), a checkbox is displayed so that donors actively confirm they have read and agree to the terms of service and privacy policy before completing their gift.

In all other regions, donors see an inline statement that reads, "By continuing, you certify you have read and agree to the terms of service and the privacy policy," with links to both documents. No checkbox is offered.

When the checkbox is displayed, it must be selected to submit the form. If not, the checkbox label is highlighted as an error.
