Why won't the page scroll past a specific section?

This can occur when a custom content section is named the same as one of the page’s reserved built-in section names — for example, About, Advocates, Donors, FAQ, Social, or Updates.

The page uses URL hash anchors (for example, #about or #donors) to let visitors jump directly to specific sections. If a custom content section shares a reserved name, clicking a navigation link may scroll to the built-in section rather than the custom section.

Rename the custom content section to avoid matching a built-in page section name.
