Can you pause a recurring gift?

An admin or the donor can update a recurring gift so that the next installment date runs at some point in the future. It’s not an indefinite pause, but does allow a donor to delay payments.

To make this change an admin would go to the recurring gift page in GiveCampus and go to the ‘recurring subscription tab’. From here they locate the subscription and choose “modify” from the ‘Actions’ menu on the right.

On the subscription page, click Update Run Date to expand the date field, then select a future date and click Save Run Date to confirm the change.

Note: The option to update the next run date is available only for subscriptions processed through Stripe or TouchNet. It will not appear for subscriptions on other payment processors.

Date limits: , while donors can select a date up to 30 days ahead.

School admins can set the next run date up to 365 days in advance.
